Texte source - roumain Proprietatea asupra pamantului cu structura sa ierarhizata si complexa constituie temelia institutiilor politice si juridice feudale. Complexitatea este determinata de imbinarea unor forme de stapanire devalmasa si personala, diferentiate prin regimul juridic deosebit, ca si prin pozitia diferita a titularilor pe scena sociala. Urmarind dinamica formelor de proprietate, constatam ca unele din ele - stravechi - continua sa existe si in feudalismul dezvoltat, cum este mai ales proprietatea taranilor organizati in obste, alaturi de care se dezvolta, cele care apartin domnilor, boierilor, manastirilor, orasenilor.
