In quote for building swimming pool:
"Réalisation des arêtes et gorges au mortier de ciment dosé à 350 kg/m3 jusqu'à 0,20 m de développé."

dimension
Explication :
Quite which dimension they are talking about (thickness, depth, breadth, etc.) I can't say since I can't visualize where these gorges and arêtes are.

Certainly "dévelopé" refers to a "developed dimension". For ex., if you take a piece of string on indeterminate length from that box in your attic labeled "bits of string of indeterminate length" (as opposed to those marked "short bits of string" and "long bits of string") and place it on the table so it is reasonably straight, from end to end it might measure 12 inches. Now, if you hold the ends tight (but not so tight that you actually stretch the string) you might measure it's length as 15 inches. That is its developed length. THe idea of development of a dimension comes into play when you have curvature, etc.

In map terms, the developed distance from where you live to where you work is the distance you actually drive, walk, etc. as opposed to the distance your budgie flies.

On reflection, it probably IS the developed length in your case, i.e. in the case of a vertical right-angled corner, the length of the curved line formed by the mortar filling the corner, or the length of the curved line of mortar \"smoothing\" a salient angle.
