Vendre, de la manière, aux personnes

French to English Law/Patents Real Estate Contract
Please could anyone advise on the following? It is part of a real estate contract, authorising a notary to act on behalf of a couple:

The contract authorises the notary to:

"Vendre, de la manière, aux personnes, solidairement entre eux, ... les parties d'un ensemble immobilier ...

I am not sure how to translate this sentence, especially "De la manière" and "aux personnes" in this context.

For "solidairement entre eux" I have found "jointly and severally."

"To sell, in the proper manner ??? to the persons ???, jointly and severally, ....

Any suggestions welcome! It is probably a set phrase in legal language.

"aux personnes" also looks like there's some words missing. Solidairement, as you say, is jointly and severally.

I don't think this is a set phrase, I think it is more likely an omission in the text (eg. de la manière la plus appropriée, la plus rentable etc.) - certainly worth checking with the client. Nb. off topic and you might be just using shorthand here, but "notary" won't be enough to express "notaire", if that's what it's translating here.

Thank you, AllegroTrans. Just want to be helpful. Confidence is naturally low (it has to be without the sentence). Less certain about "in turn/as a result" (just looking for anything that could make sense (a stretch from normal meaning of "manière" LOL)
