French to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s) selling of shares contract
Good morning/afternoon,
I am finishing up a brief contract between buyer and Seller of share in which the d=designated auditing firm from Canada has he above after its corporate name. I could not find it anywhere, even in Canada's Termium Plus government on-line dictionary.

Thanks for your help.

Regards to all,

Richie

Chris Hall Jul 29, 2010:
Phil... Fully agree with you.
SENCRL = société en nom collectif à responsabilité limitée
philgoddard Jul 29, 2010:
You don't need to translate it if it's part of a company name, but I just Googled it and got the answer within five seconds.

I don't think this should be translated.

The website below gives French and English versions and both have the French acronym.

neutral philgoddard : This is the US equivalent, but it shouldn't be translated.

agree wfarkas (X) : The English translation of "S.E.N.C.R.L, s.r.l." is LLP. See the English corporate name of McCarthy Tétrault, a prominent Canadian law firm. Ditto for OGILVY RENAULT S.E.N.C.R.L., s.r.l./ OGILVY RENAULT LLP
