Bio
Please do not bother me with translation job offers which need to be done in a very short time, such as, 6 hours, for example.

I am neither a robot, nor a commando, who is always ready to take up any job that comes my way; nor is my only aim in life is to do low-paying translation work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I have a life and a real-life job. I do translation as a hobby.

Thank you for understanding.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I am a chemist by training, teacher by profession, and translation is one of my hobbies.

I have a PhD in Applied Theoretical Chemistry, and a Masters in Physical Chemistry.

I did postdoctoral work with two very reputed scientists, one of them a Nobel prize winner.

I had worked with the National Book Trust of India (NBT), New Delhi as a translator, and translated two books from English to Assamese for the NBT.

Most Indian companies do not read what I wrote here; so I am not interested anymore in dealing with Indian companies. Most of them will ask for huge work to be done in 2 hours.

I'm forced to remove my contact phone number due to their stupidity, or their failure to read my profile and understand what is written here, OR their BLATANT disregard for my wishes.

I'm NOT interested anymore in dealing with Indian companies.

Below you will find my brief CV.
