Hi everyone,
I understand these words separately, but I don't get how they work together. How can someone's head shiver? Does it mean for someone to shake their head?
This is from a Palestinian novel and a mother talking to her daughter.
في مرة، كنت كما لو أنك تتحدثين مع أحدهم في الفراغ الواقف قبالتك، ثم انقلبتْ عيناكِ وانتفض رأسك كأنك سمعت قصة رُمتها بشوق، أو تعثرتِ باكتشاف عظيم ....
