. Se trata de una empresa que fabrica film de pvc y diferentes materiales. Envuekven productos de otras empresas con ese film. Por eso se habla de 'wrapping' y no de packaging.

Nunca he oido 'overwrapping' y aqui no va. Segun tu explicacion de ahorrar en materiales de envoltura, este termino me parece lo mas adecuado.

Si se trata de un producto comercial, el termino seria 'packaging' en vez de 'wrapping'.

After having seen the asker\'s additional comments and context, then \'excess wrapping\' would fit here since they are not actually packaging the products.

Yes, your option is perfectly viable. However, using the term 'problema' already denotes something negative. I still think packaging is more appropriate.

over wrapping....if we are talking about excessive wrapping
But in the context given, it has to be outer wrapping, one of the suggestions above, because it is talking about wrapping a group of containers to keep them together.

Yes, I read your answer, Jane! But I wanted to state that I think the term should be outer wrapping, rather than shrink or stretch wrapping
