I voted Quite Sociable, but it's quite subjective! Dec 19, 2010

I have a feeling some of us Quite Sociable folk would be considered VERY sociable by some people and very introverted by others!!

I did google some quizzes to see how sociable you are, but most seem to be aimed at Teenagers and others contain such bad spelling, I couldn't recommend them here!

I do like meeting new people and generally network well, but my day job takes up a lot of my time, so I don't get to see people as often as I should.

maybe sociable Dec 19, 2010

Certainly difficult question to answer...
I think I am sociable.
I care about my (on-site)team colleagues and my clients.
Accordingly I may interact socially with them...

Good timing! Dec 19, 2010

We had a similar poll just a short while ago ("are you an extrovert?" I believe it was) so I doubt if anyone's too interested in this one today. I posted the idea a long while ago so I'm not just copying, honest.

The cat who walks by herself Dec 19, 2010

I really appreciate spending time with others as long as it's in small doses. One big party per year is quite enough.

I've been snowed in for days and until yesterday I hadn't seen anyone other than the postman and my elderly neighbour all week. If I were more sociable, I'd be foaming at the mouth by now!

Quite sociable Dec 19, 2010

Difficult question indeed. I am a loner, I don't mind working alone and spending much time alone at home. But I also enjoy meeting people. And then, it depends on the context, in some cases I will be very shy, in some others I will be very sociable. But I tend to get more sociable over the years. This is something you can work on, I used to be very shy.

Quite sociable Dec 19, 2010

It's a quite difficult question indeed. I used to runaway from big parties. Now I just don't go to them anymore. But I have a good social life and see my friends quite often, and I don't have any problem at all to interact with small groups of people.

Depends on the circumstances Dec 19, 2010

I'm very sociable in small groups, but large parties can bother me if they're loud. A large party that isn't loud, if I know some of the people, is fine. If I get revved up about a cause, then I am motivated to socialize to enlist supporters.

There is an option missing: Dec 19, 2010

A not so subtle distinction betweem asocial and anti-social.

Depends on the noise level at the gathering Dec 25, 2010

If it's even remotely noisy (booming music, dozens of people talking at once), my brain tends to shut down.

But at a quiet-ish gathering, I'm very outgoing.
