I've never come across 'terrain' used in this context before. The document relates to project management and getting a project back on track following slippage. I guess it means something like 'provided by initial calculations' in this context, but I'm not sure.
The whole sentence is:
Un ré-estimé de gestion peut être nécessaire afin de recadrer la vision comptable du projet (%fin) avec la vision de l'avancement donnée par le terrain (%tech).

A search in the glossary will give you lots of ideas for "terrain" used in this way. I think here it's a contrast between the siutation from viewed an accounting standpoint versus the way things (actually, really) look from the field i.e. in practice.

First, I think that the "vision comptable" is a figure-based view of the project in question. But, one also needs to consider the landscape of whatever area the project is in, with all the technological advancements.
