Thanks for your ideas so far I'm not at all in the right frame of mind for this today. Perhaps because I am nursing a cracked rib and a splitting headache! Oh for sick leave... ;-)

the ultimate paradox

It apparently means "all paradoxes rolled into one", but "paradoxes" in the plural sounds just a bit stilted to my ears.
"The ultimate paradox" gets rounds this quite well, I feel.

This is just another pretentious pseudo-intellectual alternative. It's not much good, but probably at least as good as the original deserves.
