A very positive start to 2019! Projects in the last month-and-a-bit have included simple explainers of common health issues for an Austrian website (9k), an operating manual for a traction motor (5k), technical risk assessments (6k), a wedding speech for a member of German nobility (!), proofreading and content creation for a French football trivia app, various press releases and articles (total 29k) and several legal documents (22k total). In June, I took a week's holiday to Berlin - enjoying both the World Cup fever and meeting up with clients I had previously only communicated with via email. Projects during June included reports on completed construction projects for a large Austrian company (4.5k), a couple of GDPR/data privacy documents (3k) and monolingual proofreading of a set of proposals for scientific studies into disorders of the colon (~40k). The month's main project, soon to be completed, is a website for an aesthetic surgery practice in Baden-Württemburg (32k).

April was another good month, my best for a while! Favourite projects included the translation of a highly creative, outside-the-box advertising agency's website, lots of copy for a B2B marketing company, newsletters for a research organisation's finance/accounting department and an abstract/outline of a transatlantic research project.

March was an interesting month! It started being cut off on holiday in Scotland due to the Beast from the East - and then, work-wise, was challenging but ultimately successful. The biggest projects included a lengthy manual for an SAP system; a call for tenders for a vertical storage lift at a satellite integration facility; a variety of documentation and press content for a German pump manufacturer, and a contract for a start-up investment contest. April has been hectic so far - long may the work continue!
