Thank you for your efforts to help. I have had to close the question without grading because my clients revealed to me this was a "fake" term, designed to ferret out those who are not taking the survey seriously. They only told me this after I specifically asked for clarification on this term. Wish I had known sooner!

That's a good translation of the definition, but how would you translate the term itself--"open end delivery balancing"? I think the term refers to a technology that would help with the accounting of deliveries and receipts, assuring the inbound processing and proper stock replenishment. This is a guess at this point, but I think it's a reasonable one, given that the survey probes a lot of business-specific processes which have an IT component, such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Sales Force Automation, Customer Relationship management, etc. Thank you!

agree Biling Services : Given the context, I venture that ´balancing delivery´ refers to tuning and managing delivery service levels, using open-ended, or open-interface, tools or architectures, which are more diverse and numerous in the market.
