I am a free lance translator/interpreter who is also a part-time employee of Sheeatika Languages. I have done translating into French/Spanish and English on a variety of topics. The translation involves translating and editing magazine articles for Latin American and African officials. The subject matter has involved security issues. I have also done interpreting (consecutive and chuchotage) in two conferences, again involving security issues, for Latin American and African officials.
I am also adept at doing transcription (English-English as well as Fr-Fr and Span-Span). I have used the transcription Gear software to do this.
I am a teacher of French and Spanish; being presently employed by the Alliance Francaise of Tampa, FL. I teach adult classes. I have 20 years of teaching experience at the jr. high, senior high and college levels.
I hold a master's degree in French Literature and Spanish teaching certification.
I have lived in Peru (2 years) France (1 year) and consider my Spanish and French ability to be near native. I am a native speaker of English.
