Thanks, Jane, but as I said, this is normally a customs officer. My suggestion was based on your specific request. Therefore, I suggest we should not make an entry in the glossary in case it misleads someone looking for the customers officer.

Loan Officer

Google searches tell me this is a customs officer.
But if you want a loan officer, in the States he would be Loan Officer I (http://www.bankersonline.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=56... not a "senior loan officer".

Depends on the country. It could just be a "personal loan(s) officer".
