BLOCKING YOUR FINISHED WORK
If you didn’t mount your work in a frame, your finished piece will probably be distorted and will not be square.
The piece will, therefore, need to be blocked before being made up into a cushion cover.
You can have your work professionally blocked – look online for this service – or you could do it yourself, following the method below.
You will need a wooden board that is larger than the finished piece (alternatively, buy a blocking board for tapestry); a ruler and a pencil; a hammer, some small nails and pliers; a spray bottle filled with water.
