Spanish term or phrase: excéntrica
This is the context: El grupo de accionamiento de la serie XXX está formado por un eje vibrador cuya excéntrica define la amplitud de oscilación del conjunto. La transmisión entre el motor y el eje vibrador se realiza por correa.

Upper/outer limits

Explanation:
The drive group of the XXX series consists of a vibrating shaft whose outer limits define the full extent of the assembly's oscillation. The transmission between the motor and the vibrating shaft is carried out by belt.

neutral  Jennifer Levey: Incorrect. An excéntrica is a mechanical component which functions like a 'captive cam'. You obviously didn't spend your childhood building wondrous machines with a Meccano set. Or perhaps you're a Lego fan ... ?

eccentric

Explanation:

The eccentric allows the conversion of a rotary motion into a back and forth motion. ... copy of Eccentric single throw ... 2019 Meccano ....

@Asker - absolutely everything in the Meccano catalogue is a 'part of a machine'. And in my second web-ref you can see how an eccentric works, in comparison with a cam or crack-shaft.

In the animation, see general principles from start to 00:50, then skip to 02:02 to see something that's no doubt very similar to Asker's 'round wheel with a biela (connecting rod) beside it.

Notes to answerer
Asker: This doesn't look like part of a machine, unfortunately Jennifer. It would be great if it was, but the image I have within the text is what looks like part of the machine looking like a wheel connected to a rod....

neutral  Hernan Casasbuenas: I suggest something in this order: whose eccentricity defines the amplitude of the oscillation of the assembly. Engineering is not soemthing I handle.

-> The question is about excéntrica (an object), not excentricidad (a characteristic of an object - and in some cases, of a person). It is the eccentric that defines the amplitude, not the eje vibrador.
