Explanation:
Concretar(se) en este contexto hace referencia a la tangibilidad, es decir a que son palabras que se han vuelto "tangibles" (son ese vaho blanquecino).
"Concrete" como v. puede ser "to form into a solid mass".
No estoy 100% seguro de la traducción sugerida pero sí lo estoy de la explicación que di sobre el uso del término en el texto de origen. Ojalá te sea de utilidad.
