Tasting notes for a wine:

En boca es fresco, graso, amplio, con un recorrido medio y una agradable persistencia.

I am unsure what recorrido medio means in this context. Any ideas?

Thanks everyone. It seems to me that mouthfeel refers more to textures rather than how long the flavour of the wine stays in the mouth, and they seem to express this as "en boca...". The world of wine is a world unto itself!!

The language borders on formal when specialized terminology is used in the
description of the wine, as in the following examples:
(9a) En boca tiene buen ataque, resulta cremoso, con acidez correcta, ***recorrido medio,***
bien perfilado y bastante largo.
(It shows a strong attack in the mouth, creamy, with correct acidity, a medium but
well-defined and lasting mouthfeel. Our translation)

neutral  philgoddard: I don't think so. Recorrido means a route or journey, and I believe this is about the time the flavour lasts.

Reference information:
The search terms is "recorrido medio", but I have a feeling that "recorrido en boca" and "paso en boca" are synonyms. "Medio" (probably "average" in this context) does not worry me too much, but "recorrido" does. I still have the doubt whether "recorrido" and "paso" mean the same here.

Definition of “recorrido en boca”:

El recorrido del vino en boca. Para saborear un vino debemos dar un sorbo generoso que llene el paladar y permita que el líquido recorra cada recoveco para lograr una mejor expresión.
