Learning Organization Model

English to French Bus/Financial Economics company management
As in "To adapt to a Learning Organization Model, it is vital to understand that it is a concrete methodology that has to emanate mainly from within the organization."
Change log

Aug 23, 2018 20:38: Daryo changed "Field (write-in)" from "(none)" to "company management"

Discussion

B D Finch Aug 24, 2018:
@Daryo Nice reference! The link with HR, is that HR departments are responsible for in-house training, which includes ensuring that the company management gets training sessions from management consultancies to keep them up-to-date with the latest jargon and fads.
Daryo Aug 23, 2018:
Once again ... it helps to concentrate exclusively on the ST, not on Asker's comments, presumed translations, or interpretation of the "context".

Here "learning" is more a figure of style than the literal "learning" than can be done only by a living person, so this ST is definitely NOT about "human resources/HR", IOW "Bus/Financial - Human Resources" was mildly misleading ...

the concept of "Learning Organization Model" is about managing the whole organisation (whether you call it the latest management fad or the latest insight ...) - see https://hbr.org/2002/10/spotting-management-fads

disagree Lorraine Dubuc : Models est anglais, et d'apprentissage de l'organisation ne veut rien dire. On pourrait parler de modèle d'entrepreneuriat en apprentissage continu ou de modèle entrepreneurial d'apprentissage continu.

modèle"s".d'apprentissage de l'organisation.
disagree Francois Boye : agree with Lorraine

For both of you ,no thing in context refers to entrepreneurial ,ou d'entrepreneuriat.
disagree Daryo : you can't really use "l'apprentissage" for an organisation - it's used for people learning from scratch a new trade!

Reread very well my comment!!. It should be: modèle"s" d'apprentissage" ou"modèle"s" pédagogique ou aussi "modèle"s" de formation "de l'organisation.

Note that, as the above explanation seeks to demonstrate, this is one of those management-speak buzz-phrases. It needs to be translated with the eqivalent French buzz-phrase that will be instantly recognisable to management consultants and management studies lecturers, who will probably instantly remember Peter Senge's very own flow-charts and diagrams. Academic, management and consultancy careers depend on spouting this sort of stuff.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Mohamed Hosni : There's no "qui" . Which means"who"in this term. Should you know that I don't use Google translation. I'am morrocan ,I am in touch with French language since my childhood, so this term is very easy for me. No need to GOOGLE. @Daryo,"why not you who find.

Perhaps you'd like to tell that to Peter Senge's publisher! I also offered the alternative "organisation apprenante". Word-for-word translation provides the nonsense you get with Google Translate.//I'm glad your French might be better than your English.
agree Daryo : bien trouvé

modèle d'entreprise en apprentissage continu

culture d'entreprise fondée sur l'apprentissage continu

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 1 jour 2 heures (2018-08-23 23:15:14 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

When learning is part an organisation's culture. This is an ongoing process of course, learning is not a matter of one shot process but a culture that makes an organization adapting to the evolution of its industry, be it technologically, or on the human ressources level (regulations, compliance etc.)
Example sentence:

votre formation continue en entrepreneuriat

Peer comment(s):

disagree Daryo : ça marche pas pour une entreprise // même pour une personne, c'est plutôt "formation continue" /// en fait, ce concept n'a pas grand chose à voir avec les ressources humaines - c'est un modèle d'organisation d'une entreprise.
5 hrs
formation continue c'est 'ongoing training' ici on parle de 'learning'.
disagree Mohamed Hosni : No thing in this term shows that the operation of learning is continued .@J'abandonne!. All right do it,'abandonnee'.
13 hrs
J'abandonne. C'est ma spécialité les ressources humaines, je traduis non moins de 240 000 mots par an dans le domaine :) Bonne journée!
