"Virtuous spiral" and "virtuous circle" are really synonymous. Both are used in English. "Virtuous circle", like "vicious circle", is probably a bit more common, but some say that "virtuous spiral" is better because it implies ending up higher than where you started. Anyway, if they use spiral, you might as well do the same. As you prefer.

"Du don" is literally "of the gift", of course, but I think a gerund, "of giving", works better in the context.

"Fait" belongs to what follows; "fait qu'il recevra" means "means that he will receive".
