investment across the board
Slightly informal so I wouldn't necessarily recommend using this in an official document, but quite appropriate for a PPT presentation.

investment across sectors
I have to put 2 as confidence level because I do not know if trasversale is referred to sectors or some other aspect.
You should infer from the PPT to what aspect "trasversale" is referred to and that is the term I would use (sector, level, segment, markets, countries etc..)
or cross-sector investment

must tell a story. What is the story, who are protagonists? What does the factory make, what sectors does the company or group of companies work in?
