Só encontrei um dicionário (Eugênio Fuerstenau - Termos Técnicos) que tem a palavra: "pau com roldana para apertar fardos; (náut.) pau de carga; repique; gurupés; apertar com prensa.
Questão é se algum deles se aplica a teares.....
