"Une plateforme motorisée permet d'imprimer des mouvements sinusoïdaux et des saccades bruques ... Résultat d'examen après une stimulation antéro-postérieure du translateur." The translator apparently interprets eye movements and plots a graph for interpretation.
Thanks very much!

eye movement recording
Capture of eye position data by the computer
The amplified, lowpass filtered EOG data is digitised to 12 bit resolution at a sampling frequency of up to 1KHz per channel when three input channels are in use (ie 2X monocular and 1X binocular EOG). Usually the sampling frequency is present to 250Hz per channel for routine saccade work and 100Hz per channel for smooth pursuit.
The sampling is carried out by an analogue to Digital converter (ADC) mounted on a board which resides in one the computer's expansion slots (Fig 1). A sample and hold device is used to stabilise the EOG signal before digitisation. A cable is supplied to carry the amplified signals to the ADC bhoard. The ADC board is controlled by the computer software and its operation is usually transparent to the user. A 1MHz clock puise generator has been added to the board to avoid timing problems caused by the variations in the clock pulse frequency supplied by different brands of computer

transducer
Final word
I would use the word "transducer". At worst, it may not be specific enough, but it can't be wrong.

The graph is an \"electrooculogram\" in case you need it.
