German term
Steuerungsterminplan
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Construction / Civil Engineering
I have a problem with various terms starting with Steuerung, such as
1. updating of Steuerungsterminpläne
2. abstimmen von Steuerungsmaßnahmen
3. Gesprächsleitung bei Steuerungsbesprechungen
I can't give you more context, b/c it is in a list of things ...
do you translate the Steuerungs part once with control, monitoring, supervision etc.???

Comment: "Thanks, I agree with the project schedule, on the other ones I did use monitoring/control measures etc. So, I guess the Brownie points go to you. Thanks again. Lis"

Project (management) schedule
These terms are all clearly to do with a building project which has to be "managed", and I'd say the BE usage would see the three terms translated like this:
1: as above;
2: Action to be taken;
3: (Project) management meetings.
They all include an element of "Steuerung", but that really doesn't mean they all have to be slavishly translated with "control" - or whatever expression you settle on for "Steuerung"
