On a global scale, blue foods – the diversity of aquatic species and products sourced from oceans and fresh water – have a central part to play in ending human malnutrition and building a healthy, sustainable and resilient food system.
As well as providing food and nutritional security for billions of people and being a vital provider of livelihoods, economies and cultures for many coastal states, many blue foods are produced in ways that are more environmentally sustainable than terrestrial foods.
This includes producing less greenhouse gases, using fewer natural resources, and having less impact on adjacent ecosystems and communities.
In the same regard, it’s also a very positive development that a higher proportion of fish production today goes directly to human consumption (which in turn is lowering meat intake), and that the higher demand for blue foods resulting from rising incomes and increased urbanisation is being met by increased yields and improvements in post-harvest methods and distribution channels.
The improved and increasingly innovative processing of wild-caught marine raw materials will yield more food and higher value products for supply chains, but if the oceans are to be an essential part of the broader solution, then the onus is on aquaculture to meet the world’s soaring appetite for healthy, nutritious and affordable seafood.
While the farming of fish and shrimp is already providing over half of the seafood that we consume today, there is plenty of expert analysis to suggest that if done in the right way, the sector can supply a great deal more.

Dried fluorspar and sulphuric acid (refer also to the BREF on LVIC-AAF) may be preheated to 120 – 150 ºC and fed into a rotary kiln, often via a pre-reactor.
In a pre-reactor the residence time is typically a few minutes, and the conversion rate is usually 30 – 50 %.
The conversion is completed in a directly or indirectly heated rotary kiln where the temperature of the reactants is raised to 200 – 300 ºC at the outlet end of the kiln.
The residence time in the rotary kiln is typically 4 – 6 hours.
Calcination
In order to remove the final fractions of crystal water, calcination is necessary.
The material is fed to a calcination oven operating at a high temperature.
The resulting product is a water-free AlF3.
All effluent gases pass through bag filters for dust removal, before being scrubbed in absorption towers, this reducing the fluorine content of the gases to a minimum before they are discharged to the atmosphere.
The liquid effluent from the process consists of scrubbing water, mother liquor and cleaning water.
These streams are collected and neutralised with lime giving mainly calcium fluoride, which is either sent to deposit or commercialised.

Söz konusu ÇED projesi ile ilgili olarak 03.07.2009 tarihli ve 27277 sayılı Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan Sanayi Kaynaklı Hava Kirliliğinin Kontrolü Yönetmeliğinde yer alan hüküm, esas ve sınır değerlere uymak şartıyla Daire Başkanlığımız görev, yetki ve sorumluluğunda eklenecek bir husus bulunmamaktadır.
Hava kalitesi modelleme çalışması ile tesis etki alanı içerisindeki hava kirlenmesine katkı değeri (HKKD) ile hava kalitesi değerleri hesaplanmış ve ilgili sınır değerler ile karşılaştırılmıştır.
Modelleme çalışmalarından elde edilen sonuçlar 03.07.2009 Tarih 27277 Sayılı Resmi Gazete’de yayınlanarak yürürlüğe giren ve 06.11.2020 tarih ve 31296 sayı ile değişiklik yapılan Sanayi Kaynaklı Hava Kirliliğinin Kontrolü Yönetmeliği uyarınca değerlendirilmiştir.
Raporun ilerleyen kısmında, proje faaliyetlerinden kaynaklanacak emisyonlardan bahsedilmiştir.

In the air quality modeling study, the air pollution contribution value (APCV) within the plant’s impact area was calculated and compared with the relevant limit values.
The modeling study results were evaluated in accordance with the Industrial Air Pollution Control Regulation that entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 03.07.2009 and numbered 27222 and was amended with the Official Gazette dated 06.11.2020 and numbered 31296.
The emissions that will arise from the project activities are explained in the following section of the report.

Directions:
Place the crisper plate into the Air Fryer basket.
Select the Preheat function and tap Start/Pause.
Spray the inside of the ramekins generously with oil spray, then place 56 grams of hashbrowns into the bottom of each.
Spread the hashbrowns across and up the sides of the ramekins so it creates a cup shape, but stays within the walls of the ramekin.
Spray again with oil spray and season with salt and pepper.
Place the ramekins onto the preheated crisper plate.
Select the Air Fry function, adjust temperature to 215°C and time to 6 minutes, then tap Start/Pause.
Crack an egg into each ramekin when the timer goes off and season again with salt and pepper.
Select the Air Fry function, adjust temperature to 200°C and time to 7 minutes, then tap Start/Pause.
Remove the ramekins when done.
Gently lift the nests from inside the ramekins using a spoon or fork and serve.

Amaç, Kapsam, Dayanak ve Tanımlar
MADDE 1 – (1) Bu Yönetmeliğin amacı; in vitro tıbbi tanı cihazlarının ve aksesuarlarının taşıması gereken temel gerekleri belirlemek ve bu cihazlar ile aksesuarlarının kullanımı sırasında hastaların, uygulayıcıların, kullanıcıların ve üçüncü şahısların sağlık ve güvenliği açısından ortaya çıkabilecek tehlikelere karşı korunmalarını sağlamak amacıyla tasarımına, sınıflandırılmasına, üretimine, piyasaya arzına, hizmete sunulmasına ve denetlenmesine ilişkin usul ve esasları düzenlemektir.
Kapsam
MADDE 2 – (1) Bu Yönetmelik; kamu kurum ve kuruluşları ile gerçek ve tüzel şahısların, in vitro tıbbi tanı cihazları ve aksesuarlarının tasarımı, üretimi, piyasaya arzı, hizmete sunulması ve denetimi ile ilgili bütün faaliyetleri kapsar.
Bu faaliyetlerle ilgili olarak doku, hücre ve diğer insan kaynaklı maddelerin alınması, toplanması ve kullanılması etik açıdan, ülkemizin taraf olduğu ve fakat şerh koyduğu 20 nci maddesi hariç olmak üzere, Avrupa Konseyinin Biyoloji ve Tıbbın Uygulanmasına İlişkin İnsan Onuru ve Haklarının Korunmasına Dair Konvansiyon; İnsan Hakları ve Biyotıp Konvansiyonunda belirlenen kurallara ve ilgili mevzuata göre yapılır.
Ancak;
Nitelikleri bakımından imalatçıları tarafından özellikle in vitro tıbbi tanı incelemesi yapmak üzere tasarlanmayan ve genel laboratuar kullanımına yönelik olan cihazlar,
Aynı sağlık kuruluşunda üretilip kullanılan in vitro tıbbi tanı cihazları ile başka bir gerçek veya tüzel kişiye devredilmeksizin yakındaki tesislerde kullanılan in vitro tıbbi tanı cihazları, Bakanlığın denetim yetkisi saklı kalmak kaydıyla
bu Yönetmelik kapsamı dışındadır.
Bu Yönetmelik in vitro tıbbi tanı cihazlarının, tıbbi reçete ile temin edilmesini öngören diğer mevzuat hükümlerini etkilemez.

MADDE 3 – (1) Bu Yönetmelik; 29/6/2001 tarihli ve 4703 sayılı Ürünlere İlişkin Teknik Mevzuatın Hazırlanması ve Uygulanmasına Dair Kanunun 4 üncü maddesine, 7/5/1987 tarihli ve 3359 sayılı Sağlık Hizmetleri Temel Kanununun 3 üncü maddesinin birinci fıkrasının (k) bendi ile 9 uncu maddesinin birinci fıkrasının (c) bendine ve 13/12/1983 tarihli ve 181 sayılı Sağlık Bakanlığının Teşkilat ve Görevleri Hakkında Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamenin 43 üncü maddesine dayanılarak hazırlanmıştır.

ARTICLE 1 – (1) This Regulation aims to lay down the procedures and principles for the design, classification, production, placing on the market, putting into service, and inspection of in vitro diagnostic medical devices and their accessories to determine their essential requirements and ensure that patients, practitioners, users, and third persons are protected against potential health and safety hazards during the operation of these devices and their accessories.
Scope
ARTICLE 2 – (1) This Regulation covers all activities related to the design, production, placing on the market, putting into service, and inspection of in vitro diagnostic medical devices by public institutions and organizations and natural and legal persons.
Sampling, collection, and handling of tissue, cell, and other human-derived materials concerning these activities shall be ethically conducted according to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Dignity of the Human Being with regard to the Application of Biology and Medicine of the European Council, to which our country is a party but put an annotation, excluding Article 20, and rules set out in the Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine, and related legislation.
However;
Devices intended for general laboratory use but not specifically designed by their manufacturers for in vitro diagnostic medical examination,
In vitro diagnostic medical devices that are produced and used in the same health institution and those used in the adjacent facilities without transferring to a natural or legal person, are excluded from this Regulation, provided that
the inspection authority of the Ministry is reserved.
This Regulation does not affect the provisions of other legislation requiring the supply of in vitro diagnostic medical devices by medical prescription.

ARTICLE 3 – (1) This Regulation has been prepared based on Article 4 of the Law on the Preparation and Implementation of Technical Legislation on Products dated 29/6/2001 and numbered 4703, subparagraph (k) of first paragraph of Article 3 and subparagraph (c) of first paragraph of Article 9 of the Fundamental Law on Healthcare Services dated 7/5/1987 and numbered 3359, and Article 43 of Decree Law Concerning the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health dated 13/12/1983 and numbered 181.

Source text - English A small scale study to evaluate the efficacy of microneedling in the presence or absence of platelet- rich plasma in the treatment of post-clipping alopecia in dogs
Background – Post-clipping alopecia often has a clinically poor response to therapy and prolonged alopecia is a source of anxiety for some owners.
In humans and dogs, superficial microtrauma via a microneedling (MN) device induces mechanical stimulation of the hair follicle with resultant hair regrowth.
Human studies suggest that concurrent application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with MN induces more rapid regrowth of better-quality hair than microneedling alone.
Hypothesis – Microneedling with PRP will induce more rapid regrowth of better quality hair.
Animals – Four unrelated client-owned dogs diagnosed with post-clipping alopecia.
Methods and Materials – This was a prospective study.
The affected site was divided in half, with the first half treated with MN alone and the second half treated with MN + PRP.
Hair regrowth was assessed by clinician and owner using a hair growth assessment scale (HGAS) at one, three, six and 12 months.
Results – At three months, all dogs had improved and three exhibited greater hair regrowth on the MN + PRP side.
A similar response was noted bilaterally in three dogs, which had improved by 76–100% at six months and remained unchanged at 12 months.
One dog improved by < 26% at six months, but had> 50% re-growth by 12 months.
The small sample size precluded statistical analysis.
Conclusions and clinical importance – In dogs with post-clipping alopecia, MN + PRP appeared to induce more rapid hair regrowth than MN; however, overall results were visibly equivalent by six months regardless of method.
Both MN and MN + PRP proved successful for treating post-clipping alopecia.

General Reporting Criteria
Note: see the Reportability Governance process for specific exemptions / exclusions to the general reporting criteria.
An injury or illness shall be recorded preferably within 24 hours but no later than seven (7) calendar days of receiving information of occurrence if it results in one or more of the following:

Fatality.
Days away from work.
Restricted work or transfer to another job.
Loss of consciousness.
Medical treatment beyond first aid (see definition of first aid).
Significant work-related injuries or illnesses diagnosed by a physician or other licensed health care professional, even if it does not result in death, days away from work, restricted work or job transfer, medical treatment beyond first aid, or loss of consciousness.
The following situations are not considered medical treatments and are NOT
Reportable:
Visits to a doctor or health care professional solely for observation or counseling.
Diagnostic procedures, including X-rays and administering prescription medications that are used solely for diagnostic purposed.
Any procedure that can be labeled first aid.
