Search images for "church" + "gallery balustrade" and compare images to a search for your term. See if you get some ideas. This is what I came up with in any case.

My quick look seemed to show the 'gallery' is the part of the church (=läktare) and the 'bröstning' is part of the design of the gallery.

Note from asker:
Thank you. I was thinking along the lines of "gallery panel." It just seems like there should be a real name for the part of the church, as every other section seems to have a name. |

Pulpit parapet
Hello
The first reference gave me "parapet" and läktare = pulpit
The second reference confirms that this does indeed exist

: I'd say pulpit = predikstol

Thanks Deane. You may well be right

: Might work if you changed it to "Lectern parapet" (Sw. "pulpet" being Eng. "lectern" rather than "pulpit")

organ loft parapet
Another suggestion that gets some positive google hits.
Discussion
For "läktare" that seems to be:
"pulpet för bibelläsningen i en kyrka; upphöjt galleri",
"i fråga om äldre kyrkor äv. liktydigt med: empor",
"empor... (brett) galleri som utgör övervåning av ett sidoskepp i en kyrka med bågar som öppnar sig inåt mittskeppet el. det centrala mittpartiet"

There is also support for "orgelläktare".
For "bröstning" you will find it is from German "Brüstung".
Since Duden defines it the same way as the Swedish term, you can translate the German term instead:
For "Brüstung", I find both "parapet" and "balustrade" at: https://www.dict.cc/
So it seems all the answers given are at least partly right.
