Swedish term

att sponta

Swedish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
In a document relating to the implementation of a construction project:

Vi har valt skonsamma metoder såsom borrade pålar och spont, det medför en mindre maskin och kortare samt lättare mer lätthanterligt material, vilket i stort eliminerar risken som ex betongpålar skulle medföra. Vi spontar de delar som krävs, främst mot kabelstråket intill norra muren samt mot kontrollkabelstråket på södra sidan, detta för att säkerställa att det inte blir brott i kabelstråken.

I've also seen sentences with 'stöd' and 'spont' used together, tho they are then used somewhat synonymous - I looked to the type of shoring that was involved. As in 'to shore with piles' ...

This reference gives you an idea -- uses 'spontsystem' a lot which includes many types of shoring. http://spont.nu/wp-content/themes/spont/pdf/BoVa-produktkata...

For some reading search 'shoring systems'
For example: https://www.vpgroundforce.com/gb/footer-links/useful-links/i...
Example sentence:

We will shore sections where necessary ...

We will be shoring sections as necessary...
