Dear Greek colleagues,
I hope you will help me identify this church. It is in Athens. I have a feeling that when you answer, it will be so obvious. Thank you so much.

The Church of the Sacred Heart (of Jesus)
Nadia is quite right, except that the appellation ιερά is left out in any English translation. I know that in Greece all church buildings have this epithet as a prefix (ιερός ναός, ιερά μονή κτλ.), but an idiomatic English translation would more properly leave it out. 'The Church of.....' 'The Monastery of......' Έτσι, σκέτο.

: Not so uncommon, Julian, with 44.000+ hits on Google and in Greece it is very widely used.
