The main host rock types at the concession are andesite and granodiorite. The concession is underlain by andesite and andesite hornfels, which was intruded by the xxx granodiorite batholith and numerous elongated stocks and dykes of similar composition located along the margins of the batholith. The batholith consists of homogeneous, medium to coarse, equigranular granodiorite. Andesite is commonly altered to hornfels on the margins of the granodiorite batholith (Speidel et al. 2001).
