English term

hypercharged sales pitch

English to Czech Bus/Financial
I am translating into Czech but if this Kudo gets to an American colleague the English explanation would be also helpful. - Some hedge funds make frequent calls to a stock analyst to discuss upgrading or downgrading a stock. "They don't exactly say: Change your rating or else... but they give you a HYPERCHARGED SALES PITCH on why you should change it," says one analyst. - Thank you.

'přetlaková' or 'nátlaková' prodejní prezentace

'hypercharged' means 'very' or even 'excessively' energetic, thus 'vysoce'or 'přespříliš nabitý'thus 'nátlakový'

The goal of the supercharged sales pitch it to close the sale by pressure, often bordering on what is legal. It's method is not to appeal to calm reason but to emotions like excitement, fear, etc.

agree Elenacb : or "násilná prodejní reklama", but I think "nátlaková prodejní prezentace" sounds better.

'Reklama' = 'an ad', but 'sales pitch' is an appeal addressed to an individual person, either as a 'live presentation' deliverred in person, over the phone or by mail.
neutral Michal Ginter (X) : sales pitch taky prenesene znamena neco jako "presvedcovaci akce"
