hydropower (profit à prendre) right/s

> on a ProZ glossary search, I don't think it's anything to do with the right to 'fall over' rather they are kind of profit à prendre (to fish and draw water/power from thne land) in ancient English Common Law, though I - having done UK 'water vs. waterfall searches' - doubt this term nails the 'right' term.

The easement across land is also called a wayleave if public utilities, planting electrical pylons across a private landowner's land, are in on the action.
Example sentence:

ProZ: fallrettighet English translation: right to exploit the hydroelectric potential

Over the last decade, the European Commission has launched several pro- cedures concerning the compatibility of hydropower right granting with European laws and regulations in several countries (e.g. France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, etc.).
