Polish term or phrase: trale
This comes from an article about the search for a Polish soldier's grave. The article begins with an explanation of international humanitarian law concerning the protection of war graves: "... Ofiary powinny być zidentyfikowane, a mogiły ich zewidencjonowane, trale oznaczone i zachowane wieczyście." I read this sentence as: "... The victims are to be identified, and their tombs cataloged, [trale] marked and perpetually preserved." However, the word "trale" eludes me! I noticed in another section of the article, the writer wrote: "Prace te trały do końca lat 60. XX w." where he certainly meant "Prace te TRWAŁY do końca lat 60. XX w." but I don't think that helps to explain the previous use of "trale"... Any suggestions?
