: i often leave out the "and supplemented" since a supplement is essentially an amendment, too.

: I definitely see a difference between amendments and supplements. An amendment changes something already there, a supplement adds something new.

I agree, which is why I translate "modifiche" as 'amendments' and 'integrazioni' as 'supplements' - I don't recall ever implying they have the same meaning! The term 'additions' simply isn't used in this context in EN.

This is standard legal parlance. Amendments certainly encompass additions (supplements) as well as deletions, restatements, etc., so references to "supplements" and "supplemented" are redundant and non-standard terminology.
