German term

Grenzwerte

German to English Bus/Financial Telecom(munications) telecom
Part of a list of document headings, no context. Document pertains to corporate structure. Is there possibly a general meaning for this that would relate to corporate structure? Thanks!

marginal (critical, threshold) values // margins

Grenzwert = marginal (critical, threshold) value, margin

Taken straight from the horse's mouth (i.e. Eichborn) - any of the above might fit a business/corporate context.

or simply \"limits\"

limiting values

Is the general meaning, don't know if there is a special corporate term.

Three options: value limit, reference value, specification limit

These are all taken from the SAP in-house terminology tool. Just some suggestions for you to think over.

constraints

For Grenzwerte I would normally think limiting values, too, but given the context of corporate structure, limitations or constraints might be more appropriate.

benchmarks

that is, minimum or industry-specific requirements set or objectives established on the base of a comparison with peers (=companies in the same industry, with similar profile)

\'benchmark\' is very much corporate culture stuff...

neutral Steffen Walter : Interesting idea - I also thought of this but rather in the sense of "Spitzenwerte" or "Vergleichswerte".

Ja, eigentlich geht es hier um Vergleichswerte (nicht unbedingt Spitzleistungen!)

maximum ranges

I don't think value is suitable here. They mean the outer limits of a spectrum of possibilities
