Я

МНЕ БЫЛО СКУЧНО

Я (ya) is how you say "I"

to say "I missed you" you use a different form of "I" - МНЕ

m-nye by-lo skooch-no

This is also how you say "I was bored"

я тебя не застал

One more meaning (in addition to я по тебе (Вам) скучал(а)):

я тебя не застал (if the speaker is a male)
я тебя не застала (if the speaker is a female)

Formal: Я Вас не застал(а).
Peer comment(s):

agree H.A. (X) : right

Soskuchilsia/as'

With no context available, I am inclined to think it might have been _soskuchilas/lsia_.

Have no experience with this whatsoever:)
Peer comment(s):

neutral Vladimir Dubisskiy : there is a ceratin finality with this variant, isn't it? Like someone did it, and then (in the same past) had stopped..

I is a first person singular pronoun and written in capital form i.e. I .

IN THE SENTENCE I miised you the word I takes a different form and will be written as "Minye bilo skuchno" or in another way will be written as " ya skuchal bez chibya"

Mnie tebia niehvatalo

Ja skuchal po tebe.
Mnie tebia ochen niehvatalo (niedostavalo) .

Both mean I missed you. Second is nicer...
