Discussion

Adrian MM. (X) Mar 12, 2009:
Tiers détenteur Ségolène and other readers might like to consider the contexts in which the following may be germane or rather French-relevant to the question: 1. garnishee 2. third-party debtor 3. stakeholder of money 4. documentary etc. escrow-holder 5. interpleader of disputed property
chaplin Mar 11, 2009:
Tiers détenteur third party holding a property claimed by a person other than the one from whom it has been received. I hope you understand because it is hard for me to grasp it first time!! Goodnight

Third Party Debt Order Notice

Hello,

This is a notice telling a person that his bank account has been frozen by court order to pay outstanding debts.

The bank is the third party holder of the money (Tiers Détenteur).

The person is never informed that this is going to happen, or else he'd withdraw all his money and hide it.

I hope this helps.
