français term
les rolls
français vers anglais
Technique / Génie
Vente au détail
Supermarkets
Another term appearing in a supermarket quality inspection list:
They are talking about the 'réserve', which I have translated as 'store-room'"
La poubelle est vidée, les rolls correctement disposés.
I am completely stumped as to what 'les rolls' are here. Possibly something to do with the bin (poubelle) itself? Could these be bin liners or something? All sounds very simple, but not if you have not come across the term in the context and it is a difficult one to research (all you get are Rolls Royces! unless of course they are saying that the bins are emptied and the boss's Rolls is correctly parked outside! :) so all is well with the world)....

"correctement disposés" would just mean correctly prepared in this case

roll containers
This is a guess, but as it concerns the storeroom, maybe it's referring to the roll containers (they're like a cage on wheels) that are generally used in that environment.
