Summary:
Aprende a interpretar, redactar y traducir correctamente documentación de comercio internacional. Para traductores e intérpretes.
Description

Read morection, the trainer is a well-skilled translator who knows what he speaks and is always open to answer questions. You really get a good picture of the whole foreign trade spectrum and at the end of the webinar you feel like you want to keep on listening to the teacher and learning! Highly recommended to those with interest in foreign trade!"
"An example of a document to be translated would have been even better so you could also see what gra..." Read moremmar is used (for example a document where a buyer/seller has complained about the other party) but learning all these terms through a presentation like this was much better and more convenient than looking them up individually, on Proz or elsewhere, and it was quite comprehensive in that way.
As a native English speaker translating into English his presentation was one I would recommend to other native English speakers. His Spanish was easy to follow when he veered off from what was on the screen so this is good for student translators/interpreters.
The duration of the course was just right as an hour would have been too rushed and two hours a little too long. He used the time well I thought. Regarding an actual translation which I suggested above, I`d suggest maybe he could do an add-on course covering this. I would have suggested he take out the history section and put in a translation but you need more time for a translation really so an add-on session would be better - even better if it was free to folks who had done this course :-)
Also some advice on how to get into business translation if you do not have a business background or have a little background. I suppose I can ask him this by email or through the website he gives, as he seems pretty open to people emailing him. "
