¿Y por cuál vía enviaron la invitación? May 11, 2016

Hasta hoy me vengo a enterar de esta reunión. En otras ocasiones yo me he puesto en contacto con hasta 100 traductores utilizando el directorio de Proz , con buenos resultados. Dime si te interesa mi ayuda en ese sentido.

Saludos

Thanks May 12, 2016

Thanks for organizing this, María. I wouldn't have been able to make the original date due to personal travel, so I'm glad you were able to push it back.

I love to meet other translators, especially local ones, so I'm very much looking forward to meeting all of you. Hopefully people will have business cards to bring and pass out.

Can't attend... May 15, 2016

It's great to see a powwow in Colombia, unfortunately I live in Medellin and not Bogota. It would be great to see a powwow in Medellin in the future though. Is there a way to receive an alert just in case a powwow in Medellin is organized? I'll leave my email just in case: paulette [at] romerocomm.com

Saludos

Great to meet everyone May 17, 2016

I really enjoyed meeting all of you-- a sincere thanks to everyone for taking the time to come to the meeting and for sharing about your experience. It's great to be able to share a little of what I've learned (usually the hard way!) over the years, and it's also an honor to learn from others. Let's do it more often!

The offer to help anyone interested with their promotional materials in English is absolutely still on the table: CVs, cover letters, introductory emails, LinkedIn profil

The offer to help anyone interested with their promotional materials in English is absolutely still on the table: CVs, cover letters, introductory emails, LinkedIn profiles, ProZ profiles, websites, etc. That way, you can be sure that you're putting your best foot forward when contacting agencies and potential clients (and when they come across your profiles and make a snap judgment regarding whether or not to contact you) in English-speaking countries and presenting the most professional image possible.
