Dear All, the powwow was very small as only 3 prozians -Sarah, my wife Gülay and myself - attended, but the food was good, the atmosphere brilliant.
A pity so few turned up. I hope we'll have the pleasure to organise something nice again (and more populated) in Birmingham soon.

I sent mail messages to people on Monday. Did you receive them? I think the venue you suggested is a great idea, Hacene. Please could all interested parties indicate their interest on this page by midnight on Wed. 12.07.06. so that Hacene can go ahead and book. That's the café I was suggesting us to meet.

It is located on Poplar Road in Kings Heath. The shop is only a few meters on the right from the jonction between Poplar Road and Alcester Road. It has a yellow front.

If we agree to meet there, Here are the information for How to get there:

Coming from Birmingham City Centre
By Bus: take the number 50 from the bus stop opposite Moor Street Station entrance (2 min walk away from New Street Station. Get off just opposite the Bingo in Kings Heath ( the bus stop just after the pub called The Station), walk up to kings Heath for 20 metres and turn on your left on Poplar Road.

By Car from the City center:

Go to the Edgebaston Cricket Club (almost opposite Canon hill park), go towards Moseley. At the first roundabout, turn right on Russell Road, keep going onto Queensbridge Road until the end and at the traffic light turn right on Alcester Road and then turn on your left. If you take the 1st road (Valentine road) continue straight on until the rounabout and turn right onto Poplar road, then turn left near the end of Poplar road onto Sommerset Cark park. The shop is only about 15 metres after the car park. If you take the second road on your left, you will be onto Poplar road then turn right onto the car park previously mentionned.

When coming by car from outside the city, take the M42 until jonction 3 which will get you straight onto Alcester Road. Continue straight on. At the next round about, take the Hollywood Bypass which will lead you onto the Maypole Roundabout. Continue straight on onto Alcester road until you pass the Sainsbury on your right (you are then in Kings Heath) and the Somerfield on your Left (300 yards further down), turn right onto Poplar road just after if and follow the other intruction for Parking.
