I have a degree in Translation, dated 1997, and since then I've been working as a freelance translator, mostly of technical documents such as patents.
Most of the patents I've translated so far are from genetics, chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, textiles, and telecommunications.
My work experience also includes two years in translating SAP software (1998 – 2000).
These are just examples and are non-limitative of the translation fields I’ve worked on.
Moreover I have experience in translating as an employee in companies such as Würth-Portugal (1997-1998) and Siemens (2001-2002).
My current work is in fact to translate technical documents and patents, especially from English and German into Portuguese.
Occasionally I translate into English in different areas. |
