A Portuguese native with a multicltural background. Graduate of the BA
Translation programme from London Metropolitan University 2019, with a 2.1 in
English into Spanish and Portuguese into English.

During
my studies, I completed an Internship with Deluxe Media Entertainment Services,
wherein the localization dep. I utilized my language skills in the day to day responsibilities. Often, I performed content quality analysis and
control in English, Portuguese, German and Spanish subtitles.

My
final Portfolio was based on the U.S Mid-term Elections piece ‘A Referendum on
Trump’ by Demetri Sevastopulo for The Financial Times, translating from
English into Portuguese (EU).

Upon
graduation I joined the The Walt Disney Company as a Content Manager for the
Coordination & Localisation team, where part of the day to day tasks, entailed ordering translations of the Disney content ranging from TV show
titles and character names, as well as theme park and store content for various
territories.

Additionally
during my studies, I freelance interpreted for Clear Communications, which specialized
in GP (Health care) sector in English into Portuguese and Spanish into English.
Further experience extends to interpreting, in the Forza E-Sports 2018 championships
tournament finals hosted by Microsoft.
