Bio

Freelance Translator (English/German) with years of experience in the entertainment industry, providing translation, transcription and subtitle services.

I have been working in the video game industry since 2009, starting off as a Freelance Video Games Journalist for various German print and online magazines and news outlets, as well as a freelance translator and copywriter for press releases. I moved to Iceland in 2013 to work as a Linguistic Owner for CCP Games, where my job shifted to Localization Manager and Project Management Specialist over the last years.

Since 2018, I work as a freelance translator (English <> German) for various projects and in different areas of expertise. My main focus is on video games and TTRPG games, but I am also versed in marketing, medical and technical translations.
