Ao som da bossa nova brasileira, o telefilme Anos Dourados retrata os valores morais da classe média carioca nos anos 50.
Lurdinha e Marcos se apaixonam à primeira vista, mas os pais da moça rejeitam o rapaz por ele ser filho de pais separados. Conservadores, eles tentam de todas as maneiras separar o casal.
Sem diálogo com a família, Lurdinha não consegue defender o amor que sente por Marcos, mas não deixa de encontrá-lo às escondidas.

Having the Brazilian Bossa Nova as the main soundtrack, the television short movie Golden Years depicts the moral values of the Rio de Janeiro middle class in the 50’s.
Lurdinha and Marcos fall in love at first sight, but Lurdinha's parents reject Marcos because his parents are divorced. They are very conservative and try to separate the couple at any cost. Lurdinha cannot get in any agreement with her parents therefore, she can't defend her love for Marcos. However, she always meets Marcos secretly.
