I am a freelance translator with over 10 years of experience in the field. I mainly work with SDL Trados Studio 2022, a licensed software that I use for most of my projects. I can also use MemoQ and Memsource when I have access to their online platforms. I have a bachelor’s degree in “Translation and Editing of Technical Texts” from Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, where I graduated in 2013. During my studies, I spent a semester at Malmö University in Sweden as part of the “Erasmus” exchange programme. There, I took courses on “English for Professional Purposes” and “Academic Writing and Rhetoric”. Translation is my full-time occupation and passion. I work with various Lithuanian and international translation agencies, as well as private clients. I have translated texts from different domains, such as general, IT, technical, business, medical and legal documents, marketing articles and website content. In addition to translation and editing, I also offer transcription services for video and audio files.
