I.- LA PUERTA PRINCIPAL
El buen Feng Shui empieza por la puerta principal que debe tener ante sí, por la
parte exterior un espacio vacío, donde pueda acumularse el Chi antes de entrar en la casa.
Limitaciones para la puerta principal:
--La puerta principal no debe de dar acceso nunca a un zaguán abarrotado.
Si el espacio es demasiado estrecho pon una luz fuerte.
--La puerta principal no debe de dar nunca directamente a una escalera.
Pon un biombo en medio o haz que un tramo inferior de la escalera siga una curva.
--No debe haber un retrete demasiado cerca de la puerta principal. De
lo contrario el Chi que entrase en la casa se pudriría.
Los apartamentos bien iluminados y limpios atraen las energías propicias. Los
rincones pequeños, oscuros y que no se utilizan producen lo que los chinos llaman “aliento mortífero”
o Chi negativo; por ello, debes ventilar de vez en cuando los cuartos trasteros. Que no haya
demasiadas puertas que den a un pasillo largo en tu casa , pues esto provoca disputas. No
debe de haber mas de tres ventanas por cada puerta. Las puertas no deben estar situadas
justo frente a una ventana , pues el Chi entra y vuelve a salir.
II.- LAS OFICINAS
Si ocupas un cargo de dirección, lo ideal es que tu despacho esté situado en una
zona al fondo de tu oficina, pero no al final de un pasillo largo.
--Siempre deben preferirse las habitaciones de forma regular a las irregulares.
--Todas las esquinas que sobresalgan deberán camuflarse con plantas.
--Evita sentarte justo debajo de una viga del techo.
--Si una ventana da a una vista de un vértice agudo, mantenla cerrada permanentemente
--No te sientes justo enfrente de unas estanterías abiertas.
Posición de la mesa de trabajo: Nunca te sientes a trabajar dando la espalda
a la puerta. Te darán una puñalada por la espalda, literalmente. No te sientes dando la espalda a la
ventana. Te faltará apoyo para tus sugerencias e ideas. Colócate siempre dando la cara a la
puerta, y pon detrás de tu puesto de trabajo un cuadro o grabado que represente una
montaña, símbolo del apoyo.
III.- EL CUARTO DE ESTAR
Los muebles del cuarto de estar no deben estar nunca en forma de L. Cuando dispongas
los sillones, los tresillos, y la mesa del centro intenta una forma mas envolvente y cerrada, pues fomenta las buenas relaciones sociales entre los que se sienta allí. Es buena idea
encontrar tu lugar favorito para colocarte en él cuando recibas amigos en tu casa. Coloca la
televisión y el equipo de música en el lado oeste de la habitación, y un tiesto con plantas o
flores en el lado este.
IV.- EL DORMITORIO
En los dormitorios las camas deben de estar bien dispuestas. Coloca la cama en un
punto diagonalmente opuesto a la puerta, y no duermas con los pies directamente hacia la puerta,
pues se considera que esta es la posición de la muerte. No duermas bajo una viga del techo, ni tengas espejos que reflejen directamente la cama.
Aunque las plantas, en general, tienen buen feng shui, no es recomendable tenerlas en
los dormitorios. La energía Yan de las plantas puede alterar a veces las energías Yin
necesarias para dormir bien por la noche.
Si puedes elegir busca un dormitorio que esté situado en la esquina norte de la
casa. De no ser posible haz todos los esfuerzos para dormir con tu cabeza orientada hacia el norte.
Por supuesto esto es relativamente fácil, consiste en mover la cama hasta que la cabeza
apunte al norte. Pero al hacerlo, los pies no deben quedar mirando directamente hacia la
puerta y ni estos, ni la cabeza deben mirar hacia el cuarto de baño.
Hay que comprender que pasamos 8 horas al día en la cama, por 7 días a la
semana y durante todos los años de nuestra vida. Se comprende la importancia que tenemos que
dar a nuestro dormitorio. Sobretodo, si usted sufre de insomnio, duerme mal, se levanta cansado...
Aplique el Feng Shui y compruebe usted mismo los resultados.
No duerma directamente debajo de una viga.
Cuando decida dónde poner la cama debe procurar no recibir el “golpe” del
borde sobresaliente de una esquina.
No tenga los pies apuntando hacia la puerta, ni hacia el baño.
No tenga la cabecera de la cama directamente debajo de una ventana.
V.- EL COMEDOR
Uno de los mejores elementos para tener en el hogar es un espejo grande en el comedor. El espejo produce un excelente feng shui para comer. Simbólicamente duplica los
alimentos que están sobre la mesa. Si ponemos un espejo que mire al norte, se fortifica la
esencia de la protección para el sustento de la familia. No garantiza riqueza pero hace que a la
familia no le falte alimento.
Hay que tener en cuenta que no es lo mismo si este espejo se pone en la
cocina, sobretodo junto al fogón, las consecuencias pueden ser graves peligros físicos; como fracturarte una pierna o un brazo. Los espejos en el comedor aumentan tu buena suerte. Los
espejos en la cocina traen peligros serios a tu vida.
Otro buen consejo para aumentar el Feng Shui de la comida es colgar un cuadro de
deliciosas frutas maduras en el comedor. También es excelente poner un bol con frutas
maduras en la mesa. Esto crea una energía positiva que simboliza la presencia de alimentos en
la casa.
En un tradicional hogar chino --en especial ,en aquél donde la figura de la madre es
muy fuerte -- jamás veras escobas, fregonas ni otros elementos de limpieza. Las personas mas
ancianas, que crecieron con un buen bagaje de supersticiones culturales, consideran muy
negativo ver escobas por la casa en lugar de mantenerlas guardadas. Las escobas a la vista
están especialmente prohibidas en el comedor. La presencia de la escoba en este lugar “barre
el sustento de la familia”, por lo tanto es un mal Feng Shui.
Los asesores de Feng Shui aconsejan que la mejor manera de mantener alejados a

ENERGIA RANCIA Y ESTANCADA
Cuando las energías que rodean una casa y las que están en su interior se
enrancian y estancan, la salud de sus habitantes se resiente. Se considera que esta es una de las
causa más comunes de mala salud. Las personas contraen con regularidad resfriados, úlceras de
estómago y otras enfermedades.
El Chi estancado se produce cuando no se ha despejado el aire del interior de la
casa. Es fácil que esto ocurra durante los días oscuros de invierno. La situación se agrava si la casa
está abarrotada y llena de polvo. Esto se debe a que el invierno es la estación fría del Yin, en
la que hay escasez de energía Yan. El predominio de la energía Yin puede provocar
enfermedades, estados letárgicos e incluso depresiones.
Tener la casa bien caldeada y bien iluminada produce energía Yan sana. Poner
música animada también produce Chi alegre. Por eso es siempre una buena idea tener , en estas
fechas, un árbol de Navidad en casa. Al decorar el árbol con adornos y luces brillantes, se
consigue crear un Chi sano y maravilloso. Todos los símbolos y los motivos propios de la
Navidad aportan energía Yan sana: las velas, las luces, las campanas, las cintas rojas, los
adornos llenos de colorido que cuelgan en los árboles muy iluminados. Lo mismo ocurre con
las fiestas y los festivales propios de la temporada en la mayoría de las culturas.
LA LIMPIEZA “DE PRIMAVERA”
Puede que sea una necesidad inconsciente de limpiar la casa para despejar las
energía estancadas lo que ha llevado a las gentes de todas las culturas y razas a realizar una limpieza
a fondo antes de celebrar las fiestas tradicionales, aunque no solo sea en la primavera.
Lo mismo que hacen los judíos al celebrar la Pascua , lo hacen los chinos que celebran
el Año Nuevo lunar y los musulmanes que celebran el Eid al-Fitr después del mes de ayuno del
Ramadán, una práctica que se considera que sirve para limpiar el cuerpo y la mente.
En casi todas las fiestas alegres tradicionales hay momentos en que se encienden
muchas luces. Las gentes del subcontinente indio, por ejemplo, celebran el Diwali, llamado
también el Festival de las Luces. Las velas que encienden los budistas en las fiestas de
Shanghai, llenan el aire de Chi saludable.
Para gozar de un Feng Shui sano en tu espacio vital, es esencial que la
casa se mantenga limpia y despejada de trastos. Los desagües rotos deben arreglarse. Las cañerías
representan las arterias de la casa , y cualquier bloqueo puede provocar graves enfermedades
si se descuida. Los aparatos averiados deben repararse. Deberás retirardel jardín toda agua
sucia o contaminada, y si se atasca el retrete o el baño, deberá desatascarse inmediatamente.
Todo esto puede parecer puro sentido común, pero resulta sorprendente la frecuencia
con que se descuidan las tareas sencillas de mantenimiento. Esto es malsano desde el punto
de vista del Feng Shui.

Puesto que no existen dos lugares, oficinas, personas, días o momentos que sean
iguales, su reto no solo consiste en crear un entorno ideal para usted, sino también en
mantenerlo así. Recuerde que cuanto más dinámica sea su vida, más dinámicos serán también
su lugar de trabajo y su hogar, que son fiel reflejo de usted mismo. Las reformas y mejoras
que haga hoy desde el punto de vista del Feng Shui, necesitarán ser puestas al día, adaptadas
y completamente renovadas cada cierto tiempo. Sus ojos deberán permanecer abiertos y
alerta a todo aquello que se mueve dinámicamente a su alrededor.
Ninguna solución es válida para siempre. Lo único que permanece
eternamente es la”danza” entre usted y su entono, una danza que puede aportar cada día felicidad,
oportunidades y prosperidad a su vida. !Disfrútelo!

I.- THE FRONT DOOR
The good Feng Shui starts with the front door itself, for the outside part an empty space where it can accumulate the Chi before entering into the house.
Restrictions to the front door:
--The front door must never give access to a crowded hallway.
If the space is very narrow, get a bright light.
--The front door must never be directly connected to a stairway.
Get a folding screen in the middle, or make the low end of the stairway follow a curve.
--Must not be a toilette so close to the front door. Otherwise, the Chi that got in the house would decay.
The well-lit and neat apartments appeal positive energies. The small, dark, and unused corners produce what the Chinese call “deadly breath” or negative Chi; consequently, you must air occasionally the storage rooms. It may not be many doors that give access to a long hallway in your house since this causes fights. It must not be more than three windows per each door. The doors should not be located in front of a window as the Chi comes in and out.
II.- THE OFFICES
If you take over a position, the ideal is that your office is located at the end, but not at the bottom of a long hallway.
--You must always prefer the rectangular rooms to the irreuglar ones.
--All the corners that stand out should blend in with plants.
--Avoid sitting directly under a roof beam.
--If a window overlooks an acute corner, keep it close permanently.
--Do not sit in front of some open base cabinet shelves.
Position of the desk: Never sit to work giving the back to the door. Literally, you will be stabbed in the back. Never sit giving the back to the window. You will lack support for your suggestions and ideas. Be always in front of a door, and hang behind your desk a picture or painting that represents a mountain, or a symbol support.
III.- THE LIVING ROOM
The furniture of the living room must never be in L-shape. When you organize the sofas,
settess and centre table, and try a cozy and close atmosphere, since it encourages the good social
relationships among those who sit around it. It is a good idea to find your favorite place in order to receive
your guests and friends in your house. Place the television and the music equipment on the west side of the
room, and pot plants or flowers on the east side.
IV.- THE BEDROOM
In the bedrooms, the beds must be well aligned. Place the bed opposite to the
door, and never sleep with the feet heading to the door, since it is considered the death
position. Never sleep beneath a roof beam, nor have mirrors pointing to the bed.
Although the plants have generally the good Feng Shui, is not recommendable to have
them in the restrooms. The Feng Shui energy of the plants can alter sometimes the yin energies as
they are necessary to sleep well at night.
If you can chose, find a bedroom that is located in the northern corner of the house.
If it is not possible, make all your efforts to sleep with the head facing to the north. Of
course, this is relatively easy, it consists to move the bed until the head points north. But by
doing so, the feet should not head directly to the door, nor the head must look at the bathroom.
We have to understand that we spend 8 hours in bed of the 7 days of the week during
our lives. It is understandable the importance we must give to our bedroom. Above all, if you
suffer from insomnia, do not sleep properly, get up tired…Use the Feng Shui and check it for yourself
the results.
Do not sleep directly under the roof beam.
When deciding where to place the bed, try not to receive the “blow” of the outstanding edge of the corner.
Do not have the feet facing to the door, or to the bathroom.
Do not have the head of the bed directly under a window.
V.- THE DINING ROOM
One of the best items to have at home is a big mirror in the dining room.
The mirror produces an excellent Feng Shui to feed. Simbolically, it doubles the meals on the table.
If we put a mirror that faces north, it strengthens the essense of protection for the family sustenance. It does not guarantee wealth, but it makes the family not lacks food.
Bear in mind that it is not the same if this mirror in the kitchen, especially close to the stove where the consequences can be serious physical dangers such as breaking an arm or a leg. The mirrors in the dining room increase the good luck. The mirrors in the kitchen bring serious dangers to your life.
Another good advice to increase the Feng Shui of the meals is to hang a picture of delicious and ripe fruits in the dining room. It is also a good idea to put a bowl of ripe fruits on the table. This creates a positive energy that simbolizes the presence of food at home.
In a traditional Chinese house –- especially, where the presence of the mother is very strong--you wil never see brooms, mops, and other cleaning supplies. The elderly who have grown with a strong cultural heritage of superstitions, consider very negative to see brooms around the house, instead of keeping them away. The brooms at sight are especially prohibited in the dining room. The presence of a broom in this place “sweeps the family sustenance.;” consequently, it is a bad Feng Shui.
The Feng Shui counselors advise that the best way to keep the strangers away from the house, is to place the broom against the wall and faces to the front door. This keeps the undesirable strangers away from the house. If you want to follow this advice, put a broom outside, not inside the house. Do it at night. During the day keep the broom inside the house.
OLD AND STAGNANT ENERGY
When the energies surround the house, and the ones that are inside get stale and block; the health of the family members deteriorates. It is considered that this is one of the most common causes of poor health. The people get regular colds, stomach ulcers, and other diseases.
The stagnant Chi happens when the air has not been cleared inside the house. It is easy to happen during the dark days of winter. It gets worse if the house is cluttered and dusty. This is because the winter is the cold season of the Yin, which there is a lack of Yan energy. The predominance of the Yin energy can provoke diseases, lethargic states, and even depressions.
Having the house well warmed up and well lit produces a healthy Feng Shui energy. Playing upbeat music produces also a happy Chi. So, it is always a good idea to have, in these dates, a Christmas tree at home. By decorating the Christmas tree with ornaments and bright lights, it will create a healthy and wonderful Chi. All symbols and motifs properly from the Christmas time give healthy energy Feng Shui: candles, lights, bells, red ribbons, decorations full of colors that hang around the well-lit trees. The same happens with the celebrations and festivals proper from this season in the majority of the cultures.
THE CLEANING “SPRING”
It may be an inconsistent necessity to clean the house in order to clear the stagnant energies, which have led to many people from all the cultures and races to undertake a thorough clean before celebrating traditional festivities; even though it is not only at spring time.
The same thing that the Jews do at celebrating the Passover, it is done by the Chinese who celebrate the Lunar New Year, and the Muslims who celebrate the Eid al-Fitr after the fasting month of Ramadan, a practice that is considered to clean the body and mind.
In almost all the joyful traditional holidays, there are moments in which many lights are turned on. The people from the Indian subcontinent; for example, they celebrate Diwali, called also the Festival of the Lights.
The candles that lighten up the Budists in the holidays in Shanghai are full of healthy Chi air.
To enjoy a healthy Feng Shui in your vital space, it is essential that the house is neat and uncluttered of stuff. Broken drains must be fixed. The pipelines represent the arteries of the house, and any blockage can cause severe diseases if they are neglected. The defective devices must be repaired. You must remove from the garden any dirty or polluted water, and if the toillette gets blocked, you will unblock it immediately.
All of this can look like a pure common sense , but it turns out to be surprising the frequency in which many simple tasks of maintenance are disregarded. This is unhealthy from the Feng Shui stand of view.

Since it does not exist two places, offices, persons, days, or moments that are equal; the challenge consists not nonly in creating an ideal environment for you, but also in keeping it nicely. Keep in mind that the more dinamic your life is, the better your place of work and your house are since they are the faithful reflection of yourself. The reforms and improvements you make today from the Feng Shui stand of view will need to be updated, adapted and completely renewed from time to time. Your eyes must be open and alert to everything that moves around dinamically.
No solution is valid forever. The only thing that remains eternally is the “dance” between you and your surroundings, a dance that can bring daily happiness, opportunities, and prosperity in your life. Enjoy it!
