I would like to apply for the position of a freelance translator at your company (English / German ↔ Russian / Ukrainian).
I was born in the Ukraine, and grew up bilingual (Russian and Ukrainian). After completing my degree in English and Slavonic Studies at Kharkov National University (Ukraine), I came to Germany (2000) and studied German at Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelm University in Bonn.

I am a certified Foreign Language Correspondent (English) and a certified Translator German – Russian.

I am an experienced translator and software localizer. During the past 17 years I have gained considerable experience in the area of translation. I have been employed as a freelance translator in a number of successful companies. My translations are exact, clear and pleasant to read. I will do my best to respond your requirements and deliver translation of the highest quality.

My translation of the children’s book The Upstairs Room by Johanna Reiss won an award at the International Translation Competition in Moscow in December 2012.
