Hello!

I'm an Italian native speaker linguist with a real passion for languages. I earned my BA in Languages (English, French and Russian) at 'Roma Tre' University and I then completed my postgraduate studies in London, where I earned an MA in Translation and Interpreting (University of Westminster).

I've been working in the translation industry since 2009 and over the past few years I fulfilled a variety of roles (translator, proofreader/editor, project manager, QA coordinator, terminologist, language tutor, etc.) both in-house and as a freelancer, learning how to approach the translation process from different perspectives. Besides developing very good IT, multi-tasking and organisational skills, and an excellent eye for details, I also learnt how to use different CAT Tools (Trados, Wordfast, XTM, GTT) and software/systems (GDS, CRS, CMS, etc).

Over the past few years I localised websites, translated marketing and advertising material, tourism related texts, fashion and cosmetics projects, voice over scripts, software, mobile apps, games and videogames, user manuals, as well as working on projects related to media, cinema, IT and healthcare.
