Source text - English Psychologist xxx was one of the first to remark that when somebody is saying something they ‘gesticulate’; and that the movements always anticipate his following words. In a recent experiment, subjects have been immobilised and it has been noticed that in this condition, people run into problems and cannot properly express themselves. In addition, often they felt the sensation of having words on the ‘tip of their tongue’.
How much you show your underbelly (your front) is a way of showing how confident, secure or trusting you are. The less you cover up your underbelly with folded arms, crossed legs, raised hands, etc., the more appropriate the qualities may be. Folding your arms may look as if you are trying to defend yourself and will look bad to the other person.
If you talk to someone who originally has folded arms, crossed legs and perhaps turning away slightly, you may think that they are uninterested and detached from your conversation. If they start to unfold their arms, uncross their legs, etc., it may be a sign that they are accepting your issue.
"We are attracted to those people
who are similar to ourselves"
Another gesture that we use is called 'mirroring'. You may not know it, but we are attracted to those people who are similar to ourselves. An example is where you are with a customer to discuss an issue and you both take a similar sitting/standing position. The discussion goes well, but if you had taken a different position, it may not have gone as well as it did.
This type of gesturing can be used by sitting in a similar position as your customer. They will become more relaxed and feel more comfortable in your presence. The opposite of ‘mirroring’ is ‘pacing’. This is where you use the same gesture first and see if the customer follows suit. If they do, it is an indication they have ‘bought into’ you as a person and already feel they like, respect and accept you.
A more common gesture is perhaps the one that is most annoying. It is known as 'displacement activity' and is used to get rid of physical tension in the body. Examples of this may include nail biting, playing with hair, chewing gum and teeth grinding.
Grooming gestures are those actions we do to reassure ourselves. This may involve you perfecting your hair or fiddling with your clothes. We normally do this when we are around people we do not know, and so we groom ourselves to make us look more presentable to lift our confidence.
Finally, our hands are used to emphasise what we say, from pointing and saying "over there", to waving someone away and saying "go away". Hands that are made into a pyramid shape (fingers and thumbs on both hands touching, with palms wide apart) mean power. If someone sitting across a desk from you talks to you with the pyramid gesture pointing to you, this will either be your boss or your future boss!

Il fatto che tu mostri la parte anteriore del corpo comunica agli altri che sei sicuro di te e che sei degno di fiducia. Meno nascondi il ventre con braccia conserte, gambe accavallate, mani alzate, ecc., meglio è. Se pieghi le braccia sembrerà che tu voglia cercare di difenderti e darai un'impressione negativa alla persona che hai di fronte.
Se parli con qualcuno che ha braccia conserte, gambe accavallate e magari evita il tuo sguardo, potresti pensare che non sia interessato alla conversazione e distaccato. Quando una persona smette di tenere le braccia incrociate e le gambe accavallate, ciò potrebbe essere un segno che sta prendendo in considerazione il tuo problema.

Un altro gesto che utilizziamo è chiamato “rispecchiamento”. Come già saprai, siamo attratti dalle persone simili a noi. Un esempio è quando sei con un cliente per discutere un problema e avete entrambi lo stesso punto di vista. La discussione procede per il meglio, ma se aveste avuto due punti di vista differenti, le cose non sarebbero andate così bene.
Un esempio di questo gesto è rappresentato dal sedersi in una posizione simile a quella del cliente. Si sentirà più rilassato e più a suo agio in tua presenza. Il contrario del "rispecchiamento" è il ”ricalco”. Questo avviene quando utilizzi lo stesso gesto per primo e poi osservi se il cliente fa lo stesso. Se ciò avviene, significa che ti crede ciecamente e che gli piaci, ti rispetta e ti accetta.
Un gesto più comune è forse quello più fastidioso. È noto come “attività di sostituzione” e viene utilizzato per eliminare la tensione fisica nel corpo. Esempi di questo sono rappresentati dal mangiarsi le unghie, giocare con i capelli, masticare chewing gum e digrignare i denti.
I gesti di cura verso noi stessi sono le azioni che compiamo per rassicurarci, come sistemare la propria acconciatura o i vestiti che si indossano. Normalmente lo facciamo quando, essendo con persone sconosciute, ci prendiamo cura del nostro aspetto fisico per sembrare più presentabili e sentirci più sicuri.
Infine, utilizziamo le mani per dare maggiore enfasi a quello che stiamo dicendo, ad esempio quando diciamo "là" puntando il dito e quando diciamo "me ne vado" salutando con la mano. Le mani a piramide (con le dita di entrambe le mani unite e i palmi distaccati) danno un'idea di potere. Una persona seduta dietro a una scrivania di fronte a te che ti parla con le mani a piramide, può essere solo il tuo capo o il tuo futuro capo!

Rest the bucket on the ground.
Place the direction-of-travel lever and gearshift lever in neutral position.
Immobilise the machine by means of the parking brake.
Stop the engine and remove the starter switch key.
Release the hydraulic pressure by operating the control levers in all directions, and vent the hydraulic tank.
Place wedges under the wheels so as to prevent the machine from moving.
Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery.
SECTION 1:
CAB REMOVAL
Open the electric compartment door to gain access to the hydraulic and electrical connections between the cab and the rest of the vehicle
Disconnect the hoses from the front side of the hydraulic control valve (1).
Plug the control valve ports and hose terminals.
Disconnect the hoses from the rear-underside of the hydraulic control valve (1).
Plug the control valve ports and hose terminals.
Remove the clamps (1), placed underneath the cab floor.
Slide the hoses, previously disconnected, downwards to get them out of the cab hydraulic/electrical compartment.
Disconnect the air conditioner hoses (1).
Protect the A/C inlet/outlet pipe ends with suitable tape.
Slide the air conditioner hoses (1) out of the cab compartment.
Protect the hose ends using a suitable protective tape.
Disconnect the cab harness from the machine harness (connector X33.9 – item 1 on Figure 8).
Remove the grommet (2) and remove the harness from the cab.
Remove the U-bolt (1) from the throttle cable bracket underneath the cab floor.
Disconnect the throttle clevis from the accelerator pedal (2).
Disconnect all the hydraulic hoses from the steering orbitrol valve.
Plug the steering orbitrol ports and hose terminal.
Disconnect all the hydraulic hoses from the brake valve.
Plug the brake valve ports and the hose terminals.
Disconnect the parking brake cable (1) from the parking brake control lever.
Remove the rear cab mounting bolts (1) from the rear cab supports (both sides).

Scollegare i tubi flessibili (1) del climatizzatore.
Proteggere le estremità del tubo di ingresso/uscita del climatizzatore con nastro adeguato.
Estrarre i tubi flessibili (1) del climatizzatore dal vano della cabina.
Proteggere le estremità dei tubi flessibili utilizzando del nastro protettivo adeguato.
Scollegare il cablaggio della cabina dal cablaggio della macchina (connettore X33.9 – componente 1 della figura 8).
Rimuovere il passacavo (2), quindi rimuovere il cablaggio dalla cabina.
