I am a native American English speaker but I have lived for a number of years in childhood and beyond in various French-speaking countries which led me first into education as a teacher of French as a foreign language (FLE) and then on to becoming a free-lance translator and interpreter. I have worked in educational and professional settings in North America, The Caribbean, West Africa and Western Europe as a researcher, translator and interpreter for over 6 years now. I specialize in general and literary translation from FR > EN but will consider projects that require translations into both languages. My rates are variable depending on how specialized the language of your document is and am always open to discussing rates for longer term or rushed projects.
